Why didn’t Hasbro opt for something new, more risky, like the Bespin dining room?Still I’m happy and pleased. While the Jabba Trone room was unique, we already had a Power of the Jedi Carbon Freezing Playset from 2001 that wasn’t as realistic and had more emphasis on play than display, but it was good. And then given that most collectors already have lots of generic storm troopers even from the VC line, why wasn’t a repainted Ugnaugth or Bespin officer from the Legacy line included? Or Lobot that was last seen only in the 2004 OTC line?Lastly, the choice of scene itself. Now I can never have enough army builders and it comes on a new attractive card, that looks very nice. Secondly, the included figure is a storm trooper. Or even a cardboard back ground could make the set more complete. So I would have appreciated it and paid up for it if more Tibana gas canisters, control panels and industrial parts or a blast door on top of the stairs were included. Or the the recently announced Tantive IV modular hallway set (can’t wait to put my rebel fleet officers in there). And it certainly doesn’t look like a complete scene and environment that offers a fairly realistic photograph backdrop, unlike the excellent and spectacular Jabba throne room from 2019. But I’m not sure about the empty corridor extension at the top end. When assembled it is fairly sizeable which justifies the price I suppose, certainly given that a figure is included. There are no stickers and only a little bit of assembly is required at the start.What I struggle with a little is what you get it is essentially a base lifted by some pillars, a staircase and a carbonisation unit with some limited play functionality. And who knows in the futures there may be further additions.

Being a Vintage Collection line set it also implies that the set is hyper realistic, detailed and weathered - close to movie prop likeliness, doing justice to the quality VC figures.
